No Sun on The Horizon

Unfortunately, for us as a whole, as a generation. We are kind of screwed over the last few months the economy has been falling and falling. To points that have not been seen in 16 years in some cases. In this month alone so far we have lost an upward of 16,000 jobs and it is only the 23rd.
However, we must stay optimistic, when you look at the brighter side of the spectrum. At least, we still have the opportunity to choose our career. Which, is a lot better than to have been doing the same job for the last thirty or so years and then just get dumped, canned or something else of that nature. Because, if you were in that situation, you would have so few options or choices even. Fact, of the matter is that we have a choice. The majority of the people who are reading this blog are just barely starting out their college career. That alone gives you the availability to choose. You can do a little research, find out what job will have the best security for you. Then take the classes to achieve you goal.

At the same time you really, need to get the thoughts out of your head that your not going to be able to under any circumstances have a job it is not true. One of the highest unemployment rates in the nation is in the construction field. More often than not the construction industry is employing non-college graduates. So, your putting a good foot forward just by taking the classes that your in right now. So keep you head high, don't look down, and choose your career wisely.
